The government has set plans out to reduce our gas usage over the next 10 years (this includes banning gas boilers from 2030). Gas is not the safest form of energy. Electric cooking appliances, including the rise in popularity of induction hobs, has caused a surge in people opting for electric ovens hobs and powerful microwaves
We can install a range of electrical points to suit your requirements.
Our electric cooker points are split into two parts; one being the run from your Consumer Unit (fuse box) to the cooker switch on the wall (or mounted in a cupboard) and the other taking power from the switch to the appliance.
For new cooker installations (no electric cooker previously) you will require both parts. If you wish to run an oven and a hob from one switch, this may be possible (please call us with the KW ratings of your appliances so as we can advise).
